Helen Ford, 92 years of Hillsboro passed away on Monday July 10, 2023.
She was born in Hillsboro on May 13, 1931, the daughter of the late James Henry Head and Helen Rogers. Besides her parents she is also preceded in death by her husband, Jim Ford, son Bruce Ford, great grandson, Andrew Michael Ford and step-mother, Jean Head.
Helen was a member of the Hillsboro Global Methodist Church, taught for over 40 years at Hillsboro City Schools and Corinth City Schools in Mississippi, Hillsboro Women's Club, the Highland County Historical Society, DAR and Samaritan Outreach.
Helen is survived by her sons, Mick (Sandy) Ford of Hillsboro and Mark (Joyce) Ford of Hillsboro, daughter, Melanie (Grant) Brose of Corinth, MS, grandchildren, Christopher Ford, Todd (Amy) Ford, Megan (Josh) Walker, Meri (Kyle) Donovan and Graham Brose, great grandchildren, Adeana and Adler Eubanks, Alex and Aiden Ford, Emery and Everett Donovan, sister, Marilyn (Bill) Atsalis of Hobe Sound, FL, nephews, Tom Atsalis and Dave (Alma) Atsalis and several great nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday July 18, 2023 at the Hillsboro Global Methodist Church.
Friends may call from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Monday July 17, 2023 at the church.
