Helen Marie Lightner, 78 years of Hillsboro, died Saturday, November 17, 2007 at her residence.
Helen was born December 13, 1928 in Adams County, Ohio, the daughter of the late Calvin and Edna Faye Rhoads Clark. Beside her parents, she was preceded in death by one son-in-law John Pinkerton; one brother Virgil Clark; one sister Marjorie Potts.
On February 18, 1946 she was united in marriage to Woodrow Lightner who survives, one son and daughter-in-law, Cecil W. and Marsha Lynn Lightner of Hillsboro, OH.; seven daughters and sons-in-law, Evelyn Pinkerton of West Union, OH., Donna Jean and Faye Adams of Leesburg, OH., Cathy and Rocky Day of Wilmington, OH., Dell Marie and Oscar Carey of Seaman, OH., Wanda Lou and Jeffrey Lytle of Midland, OH., Debbie Sue and Jerry Richmond of Hillsboro, OH., Darlene Michelle and Tony Brown of Hillsboro, OH.; two brothers, Tommy Lee Clark of Sandusky, OH. and Eldon Clark of Hillsboro, OH.; two sisters, Edna Tharp of Hillsboro, OH. and Dolly Hottinger of New Vienna, OH.; 14 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 21, 2007 at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Burial will follow in the Resthaven Memory Gardens. Friends may call Tuesday from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home.
