Helen Oglesby, 83 years of Hillsboro, passed away on Thursday March 12, 2015 at the Heartland of Hillsboro.
She was born in Butler County on October 6, 1931, the daughter of the late Raymond Sr. and Letha (Coates) Cox. Besides her parents she is also preceded by two brothers, Raymond "Rayno" Cox, Jr. and Robert Cox and one sister Ruth Cox.
She was a graduate from Marshall High School and was a waitress at the Wooden Spoon and at the Rocky Fork Lake Restaurant in Hillsboro.
Helen is survived by her husband Harold Oglesby, three sons, Mike Oglesby of Hillsboro, Tom (Lisa) Oglesby of Hillsboro and Nick (Becki) Oglesby of Hillsboro, one sister, Marinona (Bruce) Peters of Hillsboro, sister-in-law, Arlene Cox of Hillsboro, seven grandchildren; Tyler (Brittany) Oglesby, Seth Oglesby, Callie Oglesby, Meredith Oglesby, Miranda (Logan) Watson, Morgan Oglesby and Mackenzie Oglesby and four great grandchildren; Rylee, Taylor, Blake and Grayson.
Funeral Services will be 3:00 P.M. Monday March 16, 2015 at the Thompson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Prospect Cemetery with Dr. Dan Lamb officiating.
Friends may call at 1:00 P.M. until time of service of Monday at the Thompson Funeral Home.
