Helen J. Reno, 78 years of Hillsboro, died Tuesday, October 19, 2004 at the Crestwood Nursing Center in Hillsboro.
She was born in Adams County, Ohio on June 14, 1926 the daughter of the late Jasper and Bessie Jones Wallace.
She was a member of the Peace Lutheran Church. She was a teacher?s aide at Hills & Dales Training Center.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Elbert and Ernest Wallace, one sister, Marjorie Kidder, and one great grandson, Jared Greene.
She was united in marriage on August 8, 1942 to Victor Reno, Sr. who survives. She is also survived by her son, Victor Reno, Jr. of Hillsboro, daughter and son-in-law, Vicky and Mick Greene of Hillsboro, brother and sister-in-law, Harold and Joanne Wallace of Winchester, sister and brother-in-law, Connie and Donald Wilson of Hillsboro, three grandchildren, Tim Greene, Brenda Barry Earley, Sue Richard Watson, eight great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 22, 2004 at 1:00 P.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro with Pastor Doug Campbell officiating. Burial will follow in the Resthaven Memory Gardens.
Friends may call on Thursday from 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Avenue, Dayton, OH 45420.
