Helen Faye (Hall) Taylor, age 78, years of Sinking Springs, OH passed away on Tuesday November 16, 2021 in Hillsboro surrounded with her family.
Mrs. Taylor was born on March 29, 1943 in Rarden, Scioto County, Ohio, the daughter of the late Lundy and Cassie Bailey Hall and the wife of 50 years to Marcus Wayne Taylor who survives. She retired from Walmart after 20 years of service, had the honor serve as a former President of the Ladies Axillary Club of VFW Post 3762, and was a member of the Marshall Church of Christ.
Helen enjoyed working, church, supporting the Veterans, bowling with her "Unicorns" teammates in the women's league, creating wreaths for the Washington CH Garden Club, and spending time with her family and friends.
Surviving in addition to her husband is daughter, Kimberly Wilson Miller (Carlton) of Durham, NC, two sons, Gregg Taylor (Krista) of Washington CH, OH and Timothy Wilson of Florida, nine grandchildren, Anna Elizabeth Miller of Durham, NC, Daniel Miller of Asheville, NC, Stephen Miller of Charlotte, NC, Andrew Miller of Durham, NC, Miranda Taylor Hanna (Grant) of Washington CH, OH, Corey Taylor (Elizabeth) of Washington CH, OH, and Kevin Taylor of New Holland, OH, one great grandchild, Penelope Rose Taylor of Washington CH, OH, two sisters Lucille Hall Holbrook (Jerry) of Columbus, OH and Sharon Hall Jesse of Indiana, three brothers, Melvin Hall of Chesterton, IN, Roy D. Hall (Cotton) of Ashland, KY, and Andy Hopkins of Valparaiso, IN, and three nieces, Sheila Holbrook, Angela (Luis Zavala) Holbrook, Cassie Holbrook Hernandez all of Columbus, OH..
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Taylor is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, John Bailey and Katie Evelyn Riffe, paternal grandparents, Andrew Jackson Hall and America Cook, one son, Robert Eugene Wilson, two sisters, Goldie and Connie Sue Hall, and one niece, Tammy Holbrook Pickens.
Funeral Services will be 1:00 pm Saturday November 27, 2021 at the Thompson Funeral Home, in Hillsboro. Burial will follow at the Olive Branch Cemetery.
