Helen Teegarden, 92 years of Peebles, passed away Wednesday, September 1, 2010 at Adams County Regional Medical Center.
She was born in Lynx, Ohio on September 18, 1917 the daughter of the late Preston and Anna Knauff Lathrop.
Helen attended the Peebles Church of Christ and was a member of the Order of Eastern Star Peebles Chapter #396.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two grandchildren.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law; Bob and Kathy Riggs of Williamsburg, four daughters and sons-in-law; Ruth and Dwight Smalley of Peebles, Anna Lou and Tom Reynolds of Columbus, Sandy and Neil Parks of Hillsboro, and Susan and Mike Kuehner of Columbus, ten grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren, two step grandchildren, and three step great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 3, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with Jim Chandler officiating. Burial will follow in Locust Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call on Friday from 11:00 A.M. till 2:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Hope, 215 Hughes Blvd. Mt. Orab, Ohio 45154.
