Henry Crothers, 83 years of Peebles, passed away Monday, October 18, 2010 at University of Cincinnati Hospital.
He was born in Blue Creek, Ohio on February 14, 1927 the son of the late Henry and Grace Knauff Crothers.
Henry attended Liberty Chapel, was an Army Veteran of World War II, and was a member of the N.R.A.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one son; Bill Crothers and two brothers.
He is survived by his wife; Martha Savage Crothers of Peebles, whom he married on September 13, 1949, one son and daughter-in-law; Steve and LaDonna Crothers of Benton, Kansas, one daughter-in-law; Carma Cluxton of Peebles, seven grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 22, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with Doug Shelton and Richard Lloyd officiating. Military Rites will be given by the Adams County Honor Guard. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
Friends may call on Thursday from 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles.
