Herbert L. Peterson

Herbert L. Peterson, 95 years of Washington D.C., formerly of the Belfast Community, died Thursday, October 25, 2007.
He was born in Adams County, Ohio on January 25, 1912 the son of the late Ralph and Mary Minnie Setty Peterson.
He was a Navy veteran serving in WWII and was an Electronic Engineer.
Beside his parents he was preceded in death by his 1st wife Doris Bryant Peterson and his 2nd wife Evalyn A. Peterson.
He is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Judy Peterson of Maryland, one daughter and son-in-law, Marcia and David Martin of Atlanta, Georgia, two brothers-in-law, William Cornelius and Donald Moore, two sisters-in-law, Glenna Bryant and Edith Bryant, six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 1, 2007 at 7:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
Burial will be on Friday Morning at the Coss Cemetery at Belfast.
Friends may call on Thursday from 5:30 P.M. till time of service at 7:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home.
