Hollis E. Howard, 72 years of Seaman, passed away Wednesday, December 31, 2008 at Adams County Regional Medical Center.
He was born in Blue Ridge, Texas on September 30, 1936 the son of the late George W. and Ethel Mae Montgomery Howard, Sr.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers, Paul, Kenneth, and George W. Howard, Jr.
He is survived by his wife, Sherry Howard of Seaman, two daughters and sons-in-law, Susan and William Campton of Manchester and Holly and John Hagan of West Union, one brother, Joseph Howard of Slidell, Louisiana, four grandchildren, Megan Fuson, Adam Fuson, Hannah Hagan, and Joseph Hagan, and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2009 at 7:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home, Lewis-Sullivan Chapel in Seaman with Steve Warnoch officiating. According to the family's wishes, cremation will follow the services.
Friends may call on Saturday from 5:00 till 7:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home, Lewis-Sullivan Chapel in Seaman.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Hope, 215 Hughes Blvd. Mt. Orab, Ohio 45154.
