Hortense E. Trichler, 78 years of Peebles, died Monday, December 24, 2007 at the Northwest Medical Center in Margate, Florida.
She was born in King Valley, Kentucky on July 10, 1929 the daughter of the late Nelson and Dorcilla Price Ellis.
She was President of the Adams County Library Board, member of the Peebles Magazine Club, and the Shakespeare Club.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Dan Trichler.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Danise and Jerry Steiner of Coral Springs, Florida, brother, Richard Ellis of Ft. Mitchell, Kentucky, and sister, Carolyn Murray of Cincinnati.
Memorial service will be held at a later date at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles.
