Howard B. Douglas, 88 years of Seaman, passed away Saturday, January 19, 2013 at his residence.
He was born in Adams County, Ohio on April 25, 1924 the son of the late Noble and Harriet Fleming Douglas.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Ivadelle Kepp Douglas, one son; Allen Douglas, one brother, and two sisters.
Howard was a U.S. Army veteran serving in World War II and a member of the Xenia American Legion.
He is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law; Edward Douglas of Seaman and Robert and Tina Douglas of Chino Valley, Arizona, one brother; Herbert Douglas of Dayton, one sister; Betty Ruth Stiles of Dayton, and three grandchildren.
Burial will be at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at Valley View Memory Gardens in Xenia, Ohio with no services scheduled. Wallace-Thompson Funeral Homes, Lewis-Sullivan Chapel in Seaman is in charge of the arrangements.
