Howard L. Rankin, 57 years of Aberdeen, formerly of Peebles, died Monday, April 24, 2006 at the Meadowview Regional Hospital in Maysville, Kentucky.
He was born in Jamestown, Ohio on May 15, 1948 the son of the late Delbert and Bertha Pistol Rankin.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam Era.
He is survived by his wife, Debbie Rankin of Aberdeen, sons, Bruce Rankin of Waverly, Matthew Rankin of Aberdeen, brother, Charles Rankin of Peebles, and sister, Marlyn Bowens of Peebles.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 27, 2006 at 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with James Boggs officiating. Burial will follow in the Marble Furnace Cemetery with military graveside rites conducted by the Adams County Honor Guard.
Friends may call on Thursday from 12:00 till 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home.
