Hugh Elwood Cadwallader, 87, of the Danville Community, passed away Thursday, June 14, 2007 at the Highland District Hospital in Hillsboro.
He was born at his present home in Danville, Ohio on Nov. 10, 1919 to the late Ira and Nannie Wilkin Cadwallader. Hugh was preceded in death by his wife Margaret Leininger Cadwallader on September 6, 1993, infant son, sisters Ruth Paul Dolphin, Mozelle Edgar Bloom, Margene Hugh Vance, Nina John Dunn, brothers Windsor Grace Cadwallader, Roy Faye Cadwallader, Doyle Cadwallader, Dale Cadwallader.
Survivor?s include son Eddie Jane Ann Cadwallader of Lynchburg, daughters Phyllis Jane Tom Mahoney of Wilmington, Vicki Kay Moon Cadwallader of Hillsboro, sister Faye Russell Faris of Wilmington, grandchildren Jonda Charles Davidson, Jeff Brenda Mahoney, Deron Jo Ellen Cadwallader, Mark Jenny Mahoney, Kristin Steele Murray, 12 great-grandchildren, sister-in-law Viola Leininger, special friend Beulah Collins, numerous nieces and nephews and countless friends.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 19, 2007 at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Glenn Hess will officiate with burial to follow in the Hamer Twp. Cemetery, Danville.
Friends may call from 5-8 PM Monday at the Thompson Funeral Home.
