Hugh Reynolds Garrison

Hugh Reynolds Garrison, 89 years of Hillsboro, passed away on Tuesday July 5, 2022. He was born in Highland County on May 21, 1933, the son of the late Reynolds and Emma (Tucker) Garrison. Beside his parents, he is also preceded by his wife, Deloris Garrison on February 16, 2017, brothers, Vernon, Ralph and Marvin Garrison and sisters, Edna Spruance, Imogene Gamble and Linda Garrison. Hugh was a member of the Union Church of Christ, where he was a Deacon, Elder and superintendent, for Sunday school, for 49 years, volunteered at Our Daily Bread, Butler Springs and Restoration Acres and served in the United States Army. Hugh is survived by his son, John (Lynnette) Garrison of The Villages, FL, daughter, Sharon (DeWayne) Setty of Hillsboro, grandchildren, Randi (Jamion) Williams, Danielle Garrison and Joshua (fiance'e Theresa Randall) Setty, great grandchild, Rowan Williams and brother, Allen (Diane) Garrison of Hillsboro.
