Ida G. Gardner, 98 years formerly of Rarden, died Sunday, March 21, 2004 at the Lebanon Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born in Rarden, Ohio on January 5, 1906 the daughter of the late Grant and Phoebe Glaze Taylor.
She was a member of the Rarden Baptist Church.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Gardner, who passed away March 17, 1991.
She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Ray and Ermaline Gardner of Rarden, Maurice and Helen Gardner of Englewood, Paul and Alice Gardner of McDermott, daughter and son-in-law, Betty and Jack Abbott of Morrow, ten grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and several great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 24, 2004 at 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with Larry Cooper officiating. Burial will follow in the Newman Cemetery.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 11:00 till 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home.
