Inez Mildred Morris

Inez Mildred Morris, 83 years of Hillsboro, died Wednesday, February 6, 2008 at her residence.
She was born in Inman, Virginia on April 13, 1924 the daughter of the late Ballard T. and Susie Lily Flanary Short.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by one son Randy Allen, and five brothers.
Inez was a member of AMVETS Post 61, Hillsboro, Ladies Auxiliary, and a Rosie Riveter working in Baltimore, Maryland on B-24's.
She is survived by her husband Myrl Morris of Hillsboro, OH. One son Timothy Allen of Okeechobee, FL. Three daughter & sons-in-law Sheila & Larry Browning of Peebles, OH, Patricia & Fred Main of Carding, OH, and Karren & Dan Reed of Lima, OH. One special niece Debbie & Archie Bryington of Big Stone Gap, VA. Two step-daughters Emma & Gene Bockrath of Colorado Springs, CO, and Fhonda & Gary Nagel of Atlanta, GA. Two brothers Larry Wayne Short, Morristown, TN, and Troy Short of Morristown, TN. Six sisters Pauline Allen of Big Stone Gap, VA, Genese Poole of Morristown, TN, Delorise Short of Morristown, TN, Retha Gilbert of Morristown, TN, Carol Fain Matthews of Morristown, TN, and Anell Hall of Morristown, TN. Eight grandchildren and five step-grandchildren. Twelve great grandchildren and two step-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 9, 2008 at 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles, Ohio with Rev. Phil Fulton officiating.
Burial will follow in the Locust Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call on Friday, February 8, 2008 from 5:00 till 7:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro, Ohio, and Saturday, February 9, 2008 12:00 to 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles, Ohio.
Memorials may be made to Community Care Hospice; P.O. Box 123, Wilmington, Ohio 45177.
Services are under the guidance of Thompson Funeral Home, Hillsboro, Ohio.
