Irene Cook, 80 years of Oberlin, Ohio, died Saturday, August 13, 2005 at the St. Joseph New Life Hospice in Lorain, Ohio.
She was born in Scioto County on June 15, 1925 the daughter of William and Mildred Abbott Shiveley.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by one brother and three sisters.
She is survived by one son Harold Cook Jr. of Evergreen, Colorado, one daughter Sandy Cook of Oberlin, two brothers Russell Shiveley of West Union, Charles Shiveley of Peebles, two sisters, Birdie Bean of Peebles, Linda Ritchie of Batesville, Indiana, three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 17, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home with Dave Hopkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 9:00 A.M. till time of service at 11:00 A.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home.
