Irene Hill

Irene Hill, age 85 of Ironton, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at Jo-Lin Health Center.

She was born in Dumfries, Virginia on May 17, 1929 the daughter of the late Christopher and Eva (Brown) Jones.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Hill, who passed away in 2003 and one son, Howard Edwin Hill, who passed away in 1992.

She is survived by one son Earl (Wayne) and Sharon Price of Ironton; three brothers, Jim Jones of Fredericksburg, Virginia, Sam Jones of Triangle, Virginia, and Johnny Jones of Harrisonburg, Virginia; two sisters, Phyllis Pennington of Warrenton, Virginia and Margaret Mason of Fredericksburg, Virginia; 4 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, December 12, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. at Locust Grove Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Friday from 12:00 till 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles.
