Irma Faye Goodman, 81 years of Hillsboro, passed away on Saturday May 17, 2014 at her residence.
She was born in Wolfe County, KY on March 24, 1933, the daughter of the late Doarn Bonapart and Reva Lykins Hurt. Besides her parents she was also preceded by three grandchildren Matthew, Joshua and Jessica Lawhorn, two sisters Martha Thomas and Nina Hardyman, five half-brothers Everett, Burnette, Robert, McKinley and Burk Hurt and two half-sisters Eva Kidwell and Leslie Hurt.
Irma Faye was a graduate of West Union High School, received a Business Administration Degree and had retired as a Nursing Home Administrator in Loma Linda, CA.
Irma Faye is survived by her daughter Beckie Lawhorn of Hillsboro, three sons Stephen Lawhorn of CT., Michael Lawhorn of FL and Timothy Lawhorn of MT., two brothers Roy and James Hurt, two sisters Bertha Lambert and Mary Lou Shillings, eight grandchildren Steve, Thomas, Rachael, Jonathan, Kathryn Mae, Angel, Amber Lawhorn and Katy Lawhorn-Dixon and two great grandchildren Dylan Lawhorn and Tyler Dixon.
Memorial Services will be 3:30 PM on Saturday May 24, 2014 at Hillsboro Seventh Day Adventist Church, 740 S. High St. Hillsboro, OH 45133. Pastor Roy Lawinsky will officiate.
