Iva Lucille Ogden Creech, 81 years, lifelong resident of Adams County, Ohio, died Monday, August 16, 2004 at Highland District Hospital in Hillsboro.

Iva was born August 19, 1922 in Adams County, the second child of the late Harley Chester and Myrtle Douglas Ogden, and the granddaughter of loving grandparents Lewis Franklin Ogden and Ida Delilah Alice Hafer Ogden who reared her and her older sister upon the death of their mother at a young age.

She was a homemaker, mother, grandmother, and upon the death of her husband took over the operation of the family farm.

Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Creech, who passed away August 7, 1978, and daughter, Carolyn Lynn Creech.

She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Frank Ray and Joyce Creech of Cincinnati, Herschel Lee Creech of Hillsboro, Lonnie Buck and Melinda Creech of May Hill, six daughters and sons-in-law, Clara May Yankey of Seaman, Virginia Lousie and James Dyer of Gordon, Ohio, Elizabeth Lorene and Robert Storer of Belfast, Ohio, Shirley Ann and Ronald Hawkins of Panama City, Florida, Kathy Sue and Randy Black of Washington Court House, Janet Kay and Charles Shroyer of Maplewood, Ohio, two brothers, Samuel Lewis Ogden of Virginia, Robert Ray Ogden of Florida, one sister, Beulah Chamblin of Blue Creek, Ohio, thirty grandchildren, Gary Lee Moore, Terry Wayne Moore, Iva Karen Hall, Teresa Ann Moore, Jacqueline Lynn Hagen, James Ted Dyer, Lisa Ann Lewis, Thomas Wayne Dyer, Amy Jean Lynch, Timothy Bryan Pugh, Anthony Wayne Pugh, Jennifer Marie Storer, Bradley Scot Storer, Angie Lynn Brenson, Robert Lee Hawkins, Stephanie Lynn Creech, Stephen Craig Creech, Michael Lee Creech, Andrea Gayle Short, Melanie Lee Creech, Michelle Lee Hensley, Alicia Sue O?Cull, Rita Jo O?Cull, Jeremy Russel Creech, Robin Jo Wolfe, Lindsay Taylor Creech, Misty Rae Coffey, Howard Dwayne Rhoads, Charles Emerson Shroyer, Colt Tyler Shroyer, thirty-nine great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 20, 2004 at 2:00 P.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Burial will follow in the Greenbrier Cemetery.

Friends may call on Thursday from 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home.
