Ivalue Mary Hart-Fisher Reed, 95 years of Hillsboro, died Thursday, April 26, 2007 at the Franklin Ridge Nursing Center.
She was born in Preble County, Ohio on March 4, 1912 the daughter of the late John Samuel and Mary Jane Waymire Hart.
She trained and groomed race horses. She was a member of the Highland County Senior Citizens, Harness Horse Association, and the Hillsboro Eagles Ladies Auxiliary.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, William Lester Reed, who passed away on April 9, 1976, longtime companion, Art Cupps, who passed away on April 28, 2003, daughter, Wilma Jean Fisher Hopkins, two brothers and three grandchildren.
She is survived by two daughters, Janet Mae Fisher Trefz Howard Wallace of Lebanon, Rita Jane Fisher James Snyder of Franklin, three sons, Harold A. June Fisher of Miamisburg, Jack L. Judy Fisher of Franklin, Ronnie A. Alice Fisher of Franklin, one sister, Genevieve Heffelfinger of Troy, one brother, Leonard W. Hart of Englewood, sixteen grandchildren, forty-three great grandchildren, and ten great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, April 29, 2007 at 3:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Graveside service will be held on Monday, April 30, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. at the Resthaven Memory Gardens.
Friends may call on Sunday from 1:00 till 3:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to donor?s favorite charity.
