Ivan Chavira, 26 years of Donna, Texas, passed away Thursday, December 30, 2010 at Knapp Medical Center in Weslaco, Texas.
He was born in Dallas, Texas on March 24, 1984.
He is survived by his father and step mother Adrian and Erica Chavira of Las Vegas, Nevada, mother and step father Rhonda and Diago Hernandez of Durant, Oklahoma, wife Nicassa Lewis Chavira of Donna, Texas, sister Fransisca Santana of Durant, Oklahoma, grandparents Freddy and Jayne Harris of Peebles, father-in-law and mother-in-law Pastor Donald and Emily Lewis of Peebles, brother-in-law Ryan and Sara Lewis of Peebles, three nephews, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 8, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. at the Peebles Church of Christ in Christian Union with Pastor Jason Weir officiating. Burial will follow in Locust Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call on Saturday from 11:00 A.M. till 1:00 P.M. at the Peebles Church of Christ in Christian Union.
The Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles is in charge of the arrangements.
