Ivan F. Guthrie, 67 years of Hillsboro, died Wednesday, November 12, 2003 at his residence.
He was born in Dayton, Ohio on May 2, 1936 the son of the late Carl L. and Louella Burton Guthrie.
He was a U.S. Army veteran.
Beside his parents he was preceded in death by his sisters, Grace Gardner, Florabelle Howard, half brother, George Lewis, and half sister, Mabel Lewis.
He is survived by his wife, Bertha Hormel Guthrie of Hillsboro, and sisters, Corinne Murphy of New Vienna, Dorothy Guthrie of New Vienna, Etta Hammons of Cincinnati, and Alberta Jones of Middletown.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2003 at 11:00 A.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro with John Fitzgerald officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Olive Cemetery with military graveside rites conducted by the Highland County Honor Guard.
Friends may call on Saturday from 10:00 till 11:00 A.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home.
