Ivor Butch L. Raab, Jr., 60 years of Hillsboro, died Tuesday, July 11, 2006 at the Hospice of Dayton.
He was born in Fairborn, Ohio on August 10, 1945 the son of the late Ivor and Margaret Janice Brown Raab, Sr.
He lived in the Dayton area for the first part of his life with the Berts his foster parents, whom he called Mom and Dad. He moved to Highland County, where he worked at Highco and lived on his own in Hillsboro for fourteen years. Butch was greatly loved by staff and co-workers at Hills and Dales.
Beside his parents he was preceded in death by his foster parents.
He is survived by his sister, Patty Ann Sprout of Mesa, Arizona, two brothers, Mike Brown of Henderson, Nevada, Keith Heitzman of Tipp City, Ohio, foster sister, Betty Riddle of New Carlisle, and other relatives.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 14, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro with Rev. Tom Zile officiating. Burial will follow in the Maple Hill Cemetery in Tipp City.
Friends may call on Friday from 10:00 till 11:00 A.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home.
