J. Roger Bobb

J. Roger Bobb, 84 years of Bainbridge, died Tuesday, June 17, 2008 at the Crestwood Nursing Center in Hillsboro.
He was born in Rainsboro, Ohio on April 9, 1924 the son of the late John and Rosa Stethem Bobb.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Bainbridge American Legion Luther Giffin Post #14 and the Farm Bureau.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by three sisters, Lula Beltz, Grace Young, and Opal Williams, and one brother, Willis Bobb.
He was united in marriage on January 7, 1972 to Kay Hibbler Bobb, who survives. He is also survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Connie and John Swayne of Washington Court House, and three nieces, Carol Jamison of Lebanon, Vonnie Walls of Greenfield, and Melissa Posey of Bourneville.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 21, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro with Rev. Joni Manson officiating. Burial will follow in Rhoads Cemetery.
Friends may call on Friday from 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home.
