Jaan P. Kangro, 90 years of Hillsboro, died Sunday, August 12, 2001 at the Highland District Hospital in Hillsboro.
He was born in Tartu, Estonia on June 1, 1911 the son of the late Jaan and Ella Gronberg Kangro.
He was a member of the Hillsboro First United Methodist Church and the Highland County Senior Citizens.
He is survived by his wife who he married on February 11, 1941, Evi Tannberg Kangro of Hillsboro, son and daughter-in-law, Jaan and Leena Kangro of Milford, Connecticut, daughter and son-in-law, Helle and Juri Volmer of Beavercreek, grandchildren, Merike, Linda, Jaan Karl Kangro of Milford, Connecticut, Ingrid Volmer of Arlington, Texas, Paul Heidi Rajamae-Volmer of Estonia, Heino Volmer of Colorado, great grandchild, Ott Rajamae-Volmer of Estonia, cousin, Rev. Valdeko Kangro of Connecticut, and relatives in Europe and Australia.
Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro is in charge of arrangements.
