Jack Arey

Jack Arey, age 71 of Seaman, passed away Friday, July 25, 2014 at Hospice of Hope Ohio Valley Inpatient Center.
He was born in Seaman, Ohio on August 3, 1942 the son of the late Edward and Kathleen Nichols Arey.
Jack attended Church of Christ and was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam era.
He is survived by two brothers and sisters-in-law, Rodney and Raejean Arey of Macon and Gary and Carolyn Arey of Peebles; two sisters, Joan Alder of Seaman and Barbara Myers of Peebles; 10 nieces and nephews and several cousins.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with Robert Warren officiating. Burial will follow in Locust Grove Cemetery with military rites given by the Adams County Honor Guard.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 11:00 A.M. till 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles.
Memorials may be made to Community Food Bank C/O Peebles Church of Christ.
