Jack Austin, 66 years of Peebles, passed away Sunday, July 1, 2012 at the Hospice of Hope Ohio Valley Inpatient Center in Seaman.
He was born at Peebles on August 12, 1945 the son of the late Arlyn and Pearl Johnson Austin. Beside his parents he was preceded in death by his 1st wife Annabelle Adams Austin, brothers, Dale & Bobby Dean.
He attended the Burns Chapel Church, member of the NRA, & IBEW Local #575,
Portsmouth.
He is survived by his wife Teresa Armstrong Austin of Peebles, four daughters and sons in law, Angie & Bob Brewster of Latham, Jackie & Steve Brown of Otway, Beth & Jr. Hickey of Seaman, Amy & Josh Young of West Union; six grandchildren, Kristen, Ethan, Ashton, Lynsie, Brandon, Erin; two great grandchildren, Jacelyn, Kasen; brother and sister in law, Kenneth & Beverly Austin of Peebles; sister and brother in law, Garnet & Dick Hoop of Peebles.
Services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, July 4, 2012 at the Beech Fork Church with Bill Swango, Phil Fulton and Dave Hopkins co-officiating. Burial will follow in the Cedar Fork Cemetery.
Friends may call on Tuesday evening from 4:00 PM till 8:00 PM at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles
