Jack N. Head, 85 years of Hillsboro, died Saturday, April 30, 2005 at The Laurels of Hillsboro.
Jack was born November 28, 1919 in Highland County, the son of the late Frank and Mary Elizabeth Patterson Head.
Jack was a lifelong Farmer, Army Veteran of W.W. II, a member of the Benevolent Protective Order of Elk Lodge # 361 Hillsboro and the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie # 1161 Hillsboro.
On September 17, 1950 he was united in marriage to Mary Ellison Head who preceded him in death on August 20, 2001.
He is survived by a daughter Mary Angela Angie Head of Cincinnati, one granddaughter Brenna Niehaus of Cincinnati, sister-in-law Polly Ellison of Dayton, Ohio, nephew Charles Richard Ellison of Dayton, Ohio, two nieces Rosemary Hanson of Washington and Jane Ellison Horn of Dayton, Ohio.
Graveside services will be held 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, May 4, 2005 at the St. Mary?s Catholic Cemetery in Hillsboro. Military Graveside Rites will be conducted by the Highland County Honor Guard. Friends may call Tuesday from 5-8 PM at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home. Elk?s Services will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday at 8:00 PM.
Family suggests memorials to the Brenna Niehaus Education Fund, c/o US Bank, Main & High Streets, Hillsboro, Ohio 45133.
