Jack E. Pitzer, 62 of Lynchburg, died Friday, September 4, 2009 at his residence.
He was born in Clinton County, Ohio on August 13, 1947 the son of the late George �Doc� and Virginia Moberly Pitzer.
He was a 25 year member of the Hillsboro Fraternal Order of Eagles #1161. Jack retired form BP Oil Co in Hillsboro after 25 years of service.
He is survived by his wife Connie Collins of Lynchburg; five sons, Jack E. Pitzer, Jr., of Hillsboro, Benny Pitzer of Hillsboro, Jeff Collins, of Hillsboro, James Collins of Hillsboro, Stanley Crabtree of Hillsboro; two daughters, Tangia Pitzer of Hillsboro, Lora Bachman of Hillsboro; five brothers, Bob Pitzer of Xenia, Bill Pitzer of Wilmington, Tom Pitzer of Lynchburg, Gary Pitzer of Mt. Orab, Wayne Pitzer of Lynchburg, one sister, Linda Hiles of Texas, fourteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Eagle Services will be held 2:00 P.M. Tuesday September 8, 2009 with Funeral Services immediately following at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Daryl Mount will officiate with burial following in the Harwood Cemetery.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 12:00 noon until time of service at 2:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to the Charity of Choice.
