Jack Wilcher, 54 years of Sinking Spring Community, died Tuesday, June 9, 2009 Highland District Hospital.
He was born in Xenia, OH. on September 15, 1954 the son of the late Charles Grant and Toledo Ferguson Wilcher Sr.
Jack attended the Sinking Spring United Methodist Church, worked several years at Hobart, Highland County Water Company and at the V.A. Medical Center in Chillicothe. He was a Past Master of Highland Lodge #38 of Hillsboro, member of the Hillsboro Chapter # 40 RAM, Hillsboro Council # 16 RSM, Highland Commandery #31 Knights Templar. 4-H Leader and an avid collector of marbles and fishing lures.
On December 12, 1973 he was united in marriage to Judy Crum Wilcher who survives; one daughter Heather Wilcher, one brother and sister-in-law Charles & Leesa Wilcher, Jr. of Tennessee, father-in-law, John Crum of Peebles, mother-in-law, Norma Ryan Crum of Sinking Spring, brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Jerry & Pam Crum of Sinking spring, several nephews and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 12, 2009 at 3:00 P.M. at the Wylie-Thompson Funeral Home in Sinking Spring with Dwight Crum, Greg Seaman and Mike Hudson officiating.
Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call on Thursday from 4:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Wylie-Thompson Funeral Home with Masonic Service at 7:45 P.M.
