James "Jim" Albin, 74 years of West Union, passed away on Saturday June 22, 2019 at the OSU Hospice of Central Ohio.
He was born in Middletown on November 5, 1944, the son of the late James I. Albin and Mary Helen (Waye) Cornett. Jim is also preceded by his first wife, Carol Albin, second wife, Shirley Albin, son, Charles Dean Albin, halfbrother, Donald Cornett and stepmother, Mae Albin.
Jim was a member of the West Union Church of God and enjoyed bowling, softball, fishing and hunting.
Jim is survived by his children, James (Melinda) Ross of Union, Bobby Albin of Reading, Randy (Kelli) Albin of Fairfield and Wendy (Miguel) Sanchez of Reading, stepchildren, Steven (Kimberly) Barger of Groveport, Michelle (Jimmy Angel) Barger of Manchester and Marshall Barger of Winchester, 23 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and two sisters, Beverly Briscoe of Summerville and Sherry Spencer of Deltona, FL.
Funeral Services will be 4:00 PM Thursday June 27, 2019 at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Homes, Lewis-Sullivan Chapel in Seaman, Ohio. Burial will follow at the Evergreen Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2:00 PM until time of services on Thursday at the funeral home.
