James Garman Belleson, 77 years of Hillsborough, CA, returned to His Heavenly home on February 17, 2016 after a valiant battle with Multiple Myeloma. His firm belief in God and the devoted family support given him in his struggle gave him comfort and peace. Jim was blessed with a loving family and friends. He helped raise his three children with patience, love and humility. Jim could see the good in everyone and would strive to bring that out in them. He was kind and soft spoken and always had time to answer a question or solve a problem; he led by gentle example. He will be dearly missed by his loved ones who celebrate the fact that he is with his Savior.
His parents, T.J. and Thelma Garman Belleson and sister Nancy Belleson preceded him in death. Jim is lovingly remembered by his wife, of 33 years, Margie, his son, Timothy Belleson, his daughters, Rachel (Jonathan) Tam and Sarah (Steven) Radocchia and his sister, Martha (Fielding) Massie of Jackson, OH.
Jim was born in Hillsboro, OH in 1938 and grew up in Sinking Spring. He graduated from The Ohio State University as an Electrical Engineer. He was a Lieutenant in the United States Navy and served with the Seabees. Jim went on to have a long career with IBM in San Jose, CA. Jim enjoyed being an amateur radio operator and working in his shop. He was active in his local church throughout his life and involved in the lives of a number of missionaries through CRU (Campus Crusade for Christ) and AIM (African Inland Mission).
