James Frederick Bowman Fritz, 86 of Hillsboro, Ohio passed away Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at his residence.
James was born May 14, 1924, Rainsboro, Ohio to James R. Amburgey and Elizabeth E. Brewer.
James is preceded in death by his parents, son, Donald A. Bowman, bother-in-laws, David Brown, Kelly Brown, Bradley Evans, sister-in-laws, Vida Wyatt, Carlene Pilair Tuffy, Henrietta Brown.
James is survived by his wife whom he married on February 17, 1924, children, Fred N. Bowman of Petersburg, Ohio, Ewill E. Bowman Ed of
Tennessee, Mary Diana Bechdolt Greg of Hillsboro, Ohio, Paul N. Bowman Charity of Mowrystown , Ohio, daughter-in-law, Kathy Bowman of Greenfield, Ohio, brother-in-law, Larry Wyatt, sister-in-law, Helen Brown, brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws, Dave and Martha Zink, Danny Hall and Irene Brown, Jimmy Norris and Gladys Maggard, Fred and Charlene Birchfield, 14 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be Friday, March 4, 2011, 2:00 P.M. at Thompson Funeral Home with Craig McDaniels officiating. Burial will follow in the Roads Cemetry.
Friends may call on Friday from 12 noon till time of service at 2:00 PM.
