James L Burnett

James L. Burnett, 77 years of Hillsboro, passed away Wednesday December 14, 2016 at Hospice of Hope Ohio Valley Inpatient Center in Seaman.
Jim was born March 18, 1939 in Highland County, Ohio, the son of the late Louden and Vivian (Bissinger) Burnett.
Jim retired from US Bank in Hillsboro and had served his Country in the U.S. Army.
He is survived by three sons Scott (Angie) Burnett of Hillsboro, Jeff (Amy) Burnett of Hillsboro, Steve (Pam) Burnett of Jamestown, OH.; one daughter Melissa Combs of Winchester, OH.; two brothers Wayne Burnett of Charlotte, N.C. and Earl (Sharon) Burnett of Hillsboro; 12 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 P.M. Saturday, December 17, 2016 at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Burial will follow in the Sugartree Ridge Cemetery with Military Graveside Rites conducted by the Highland County Honor Guard.
Friends may call Saturday from 1:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home.
