James E. Carter, 67 years of Peebles, died Monday, May 2, 2005 at his residence.
He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on November 17, 1937 the son of the late Wilbur and Melinda Ross Carter.
He is survived by two brothers, Alton Carter of Tennessee, Fred Carter of Bluecreek, Ohio, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 5, 2005 at 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with Dave Hopkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery.
Friends may call on Thursday from 12:00 till 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home.
