James E. Cluff, 74 years of Hillsboro, died Friday July 17, 2015.
He was born June 30, 1941 at Boston, OH., the son of the late Ralph E. "Windy" and Martha Josephine (Hixon) Cluff. Beside his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Mariellen (Smith) Cluff on May 28, 2015 and a brother Fred M. Cluff.
Jim was a lifelong farmer, Bus Driver for Hills and Dales Training Center and attended the Fall Creek Friends Church.
He is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law, James "Jim" (Amanda Howard) Cluff and Jerry (Rachel) Cluff of Hillsboro; one daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer (John) Adams of Hillsboro; seven grandchildren, Tyler, Jacob, Caleb, Lane and Kathryn Cluff, Maverick and Matthew Adams and a host of friends.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
Burial will follow in the Hillsboro Cemetery with H. Scott Lattimer officiating.
Friends may call Monday from 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home.
Family requests memorials to the Fall Creek Friends Church, 11345 Karnes Road, Hillsboro, OH 45133.
