James Jim Harold Dawson

February 11, 1948 — April 9, 2014

James "Jim" Harold Dawson, 66 years of Roy, Utah, passed on April 9, 2014.

He was born in Maysville, KY on February 11, 1948, the son of Charles Dawson and the late Edna Henzie Dawson.

Jim graduated from Xenia High School in 1966 and joined the Air Force soon after in December of 1967, after retiring from the Air Force he worked for Defense Contractor.

Jim is survived by his father Charles Dawson of Hillsboro, sons Sean Dawson of Ft. Walton Beach, FL and Todd Michelle Dawson of Ft. Walton Beach, FL, daughters Shannon Dawson of Ft. Walton Beach, FL and Lisa Barber of Canada, brother William Dawson of Bainbridge, sisters Marsha Clyde Slaven of Jamestown and Martha Russell Shope of Xenia, five grandchildren, Catherine Dawson, Victoria Dawson, Madison Babula, Autumn Dawson, Ashley Barber, one great granddaughter Aliena Normadeau.

Graveside Memorial Services will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday May 3, 2014 at the Locust Grove Cemetery with Military Rites conducted by the Highland County Honor Guard.
