James D. Dixon, 71 years of Hillsboro, died Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at his residence.
He was born at Columbus, Ohio on December 7, 1938 the son of the late Donald and Irene Johnson Dixon. Beside his parents he was preceded in death by one son Jimmy Dixon and one brother David Dixon.
He owned and operated the North Bay Cottages and Bait Store for the past 20 years. He loved his dogs Max and Brutus, was an avid Ohio
State Buckeye Fan and loved fishing.
He is survived by his wife Helen Sue Nutt Dixon whom he married on September 27, 1980, one son Jonathan Scott "Kandi Blanton" Dixon of Hillsboro, one grandson Trenton Scott Dixon, one brother Donald Dixon of Pataskala, Ohio, one sister, Carmen Lytle of Pataskala, Ohio, several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
According to his wishes he was cremated.
