James F. Frump, 79 years of Leesburg, passed away Saturday, July 9, 2022.
Jim was born December 18, 1942 in Samantha, OH., the son of the late Ocie F. and Lorene (Rogers) Frump. Beside Jim's parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, David, Roger, Joseph and Allen Frump; one sister, Evelyn Granger.
Jim attended Samantha Friends Church, served with the Ohio National Guards, Insurance Agent with Western and Southern Life for 20 years and retired from Sumco.
On April 1, 1967, Jim was united in marriage to Mary Jane (Marsh) Frump who celebrated 55 years of marriage. Jim and Mary were blessed with two sons, Kevin Frump and Bradley Frump both of Hillsboro; six grandchildren, Jordan Mowrey, Kaley Frump, Kelsi Frump, Isaiah Carroll, Mady Carroll, Nate Utley; two sisters, Eleanor (Ron) Peabody of Springfield, OH., Joyce McKibben of New Vienna, OH.; several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held 6:00 P.M. Thursday, July 14, 2022 at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 4:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. Thursday at the Thompson Funeral Home.
Family suggests memorials to the American Cancer Society.
