James W. Gill, 88 years of Winchester, died Sunday, June 23, 2002 at the Ohio Valley Manor in Ripley.
He was born in Mason County, Kentucky on June 3, 1914 the son of the late Alex and Lou McDowell Gill.
He was a member of the Adams County Republican Club. He was a farmer and a township trustee.
Beside his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
He is survived by his wife, Bessie Padgett Gill of Winchester, son and daughter-in-law, Marvin and Daisy Gill of Winchester, daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Carl Copas of Seaman, brothers, Henry Gill of Dover, Kentucky, Samuel Gill of Dover, Kentucky, five grandchildren, and fifteen great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 26, 2002 at 1:00 P.M. at the Bradford-Sullivan Funeral Home in Winchester with Rev. John Waugh officiating. Burial will follow in the Winchester Cemetery.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 11:00 till 1:00 P.M. at the Bradford-Sullivan Funeral Home.
