James D. Hilterbrandt

James D. Hilterbrandt, 77 years of Piketon, OH., died Friday June 18, 2010 at The Hickory Creek of Athens.
He was born May 18, 1933 in Pike County, OH., the son of the late Oscar Layton and Nora Alice Miller Hilterbrandt. Beside his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers Edward, Lloyd and Jesse Hilterbrandt, two sisters Alpha Jones and Alma Hilterbrandt.
He is survived by one sister Dollie Hilterbrandt of Piketon, OH., one brother Joe Hilterbrandt of Piketon, OH., several nieces and nephews.
Jim was a Gunsmith by vocation and an avid outdoors man.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, June 22, 2010 at the Wylie-Thompson Funeral Home in Sinking Spring.
Rev. Phil Fulton will officiate with burial to follow in the Whiteoak Cemetery.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 12:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. at the Wylie-Thompson Funeral Home.
