James Bernard Johnson, 62 years of Hillsboro, died Wednesday, August 16, 2006 at his residence.
He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on May 26, 1944 the son of the late Junior G. and Madaline Duncan Johnson.
He worked for the Formica Corporation in Cincinnati and was a veteran serving in the Navy.
He is survived by his wife Carole Brewer Johnson of Hillsboro, daughters and son-in-law, Lisa Michelle Brooks of Leesburg, Catherine and John McSwain of Milford, three grandchildren, Shelby Brooks, Shayla Ross and Corinne McSwain.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 19, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home with Pastor Wayne Combs officiating. Burial will follow in the Hillsboro Cemetery with military grave side services by the Highland County Honor Guard.
Friends may call on Friday evening from 6:00 till 9:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 5378A Cox-Smith Road, Mason, Ohio 45040.
