James Sam Deacon Jones, 79 years of Peebles, died Friday, October 6, 2006 at the Hillcrest Nursing Home.
He was born in Greenup, Kentucky on February 28, 1927 the son of
the late Charles and Etta Jones.
He is survived by his brother Jr. Jones of Peebles and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Tuesday, October 10, at 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home with Wayne Adams officiating.
Burial will follow in the Tranquility Cemetery.
Friends may call on Monday Evening from 6:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home
