"Jim Moore passed away on the evening of 12/25/2019. He is survived by his sister, cousin and 2 sons. He was born in Galion Ohio and finished his journey in Highland county Ohio, after living in the south for several decades. He was an intelligent man with a keen sense of humor and an uncommon curiosity about everything. He wasn't shy and he enjoyed engaging with people to learn more about them and the world we live in. He held fast to his opinions and was eager to share them. He certainly did not embrace the frivolous aspects of popular culture and he was a fierce guardian and advocate of personal independence. He taught his sons lessons that have proven helpful in life and he served as an example in many ways. The complexity of his personality made his relationships richer because they were more genuine. He is loved and appreciated for his contributions to our world and his death has a big impact on those who were close to him."
