James Reeves

August 23, 1943 — April 20, 2006

James Reeves, Jr., 62 years of Winchester, died Thursday, April 20, 2006 at the Anderson Mercy Hospital in Cincinnati.

He was born in Brown County, Ohio on August 23, 1943 the son of the late James and Minnie Mae Miller Reeves, Sr. He was raised by Walter and Betty Huck, who also preceded him in death.

He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam Era. He was a member of the Seaman VFW and the Highland County Antique Machinery Club.

Beside his parents he was preceded in death by one son, James "Jamie" Reeves, III, one step son, Chuck Hamilton, and two brothers, Corkey F. Clifton, and Philip Clifton.

He is survived by his companion, Jetta Hamilton, sons, James Ronald Reeves, Troy S. Reeves, and Josh Reeves, all of Winchester, daughters and sons-in-law, Glenna and John Paul Jones of Winchester, Anisa and Mike Boschert of Cincinnati, brother and sister-in-law, Mike and Pricilla Johnson of Sardinia, sisters and brothers-in-law, Sandy and Delbert Morrow of New Vienna, Rhoda and James Gallagher of West Union, Terri Ishmal of West Union, eight grandchildren, one great grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 25, 2006 at 1:00 P.M. at the Bethlehem Church of Christ with Tom Claibourne officiating. Burial will follow in the Winchester Cemetery with military graveside rites conducted by the Adams County Honor Guard.

Friends may call on Monday from 6:00 till 9:00 P.M. at the Bethlehem Church of Christ.

Bradford-Sullivan Funeral Home in Winchester is in charge of arrangements.
