James "Jimbo" Rose, age 69 of Peebles, passed away Friday, February 21, 2014 at his residence.
He was born in Adams County, Ohio on March 23, 1944 the son of the late Homer and Ruby Hayslip Rose.
James was a member of the F.O.P. and was a former Winchester Chief of Police.
He is survived by his wife, whom he married on September 9, 1985, Cheryl Boldman Rose of Peebles; one son, Jason Rose of California; one daughter, Christina; and one brother, Donnie and Becky Rose of Bainbridge.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with Ron Baker officiating. Burial will follow in Locust Grove Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 11:00 A.M. till 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles.
