James C. "Jim" Spargur, Jr., 67 years of Hillsboro, passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2023.
Jim was born in Highland County, February 7, 1956, the son of the late James C. Spargur, Sr. and Bernadette Cope.
Jim was a 1974 graduate of Greenfield McClain High School. After high school, Jim enlisted in the Army and served his Country for 3 years. He attended Southern State Community College and received his Associates Degree in Electronics and Robotics. Jim owned and operated the Country Home Camp Grounds. He was a member of the American Legion and AMVETS. Jim loved the outsdoor and really enjoyed fishing.
On November 12, 1993, he was united in marriage to Linda K. (Calhoun) Spargur who survives. Jim is also survived by a sister, Brenda (Doug) Peabody of Bainbridge; nephew, Ian Peabody; niece Felicity Peabody; uncle and aunt, Don and Petie Baird, uncle, Tony Cope and several cousins.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the convenience of the family.
