James Lee Stone

James Lee Stone, 75 years of Peebles, died Saturday, February 9, 2008 at Hillcrest Nursing Center.
He was born in Adams County, Ohio on January 10, 1933 the son of the late James H. and Ruth Ryan Stone.
He was the former owner of the Little Food Giant Grocery Store in Peebles for ten years and was a member of the North American Hunting Club.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his son Darrin Stone, step daughter Teresa Knauff, and grandson Jamie Stone.
He is survived by his wife Barbara Gustin Stone, whom he married on March 24, 1979, sons and daughters-in-law Mike and Shilla Stone of Peebles, Timmy Stone of Peebles, and Shane Stone of Peebles, step mother Sylvia Stone of Peebles, brother and sister-in-law Bill and Ramona Stone of Winchester, step sons Randy Daulton of Peebles, Tom Daulton of Peebles, Rick Daulton of Peebles, and Jeff Daulton of Peebles, ten grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 13, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with Richard Lloyd and Michael Wiseman officiating. Burial will follow in Louisville Cemetery.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home.
