James Phillip Tuck

James Phillip "Phil" Tuck, 66 years of Hillsboro, passed away Thursday evening December 10, 2020 at the Anderson Mercy Hospital.
He was born January 14, 1954 in Highland County, the son of the late James A. Tuck and Velma (Abshear) Tuck.
He loved to go to auctions, farm auctions especially, just to visit mainly with friends.
He is survived by one sister, Velma Jean Gross and one brother, Jack R. Victor, nieces, Cindy (Vance Kraner) Gross, Lisa Catherine Victor, Lois Ann Victor, nephews, Jay (Tonya) Gross, Ron (Angie) Victor, Chris Victor, Jeff (Stella) Victor and Paul Richards and a host of great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends whom he loved very much and Molly and Blue two of his many dogs, cats and critters.
In addition to his parents and grandparents, (Press and Kate Abshear and James W. and Dora Tuck) Phil was preceded in death by two brothers, James "Jim" Victor and an infant brother, Keith Randall Tuck, sister-in-law, Catherine "Cathy" Victor, brother-in-law, A. John Gross and numerous aunts and uncles.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 pm Friday December 18, 2020 at the Thompson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the New Market Cemetery.
Friends may call from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Thursday December 17, 2020 at the Thompson Funeral Home.
